Designing services for a technological world – aiheen ennakkoesittely

Today's services leverage latest technological advances - from simple web-based interfaces for retail staff to sophisticated IP-based sensor systems in health care. A deep understanding not only of business and user needs but also of technology is therefore crucial for success in Service Design.

At Berlin-based Design Studio IxDS technology plays two important roles: 1) to design & develop tools that support the process of designing successful services and 2) as a driver for service innovation.

In their talk, Reto Wettach and Nancy Birkhölzer will present examples on how a custom-made tool-kit supported the Service Design process and how an exploratory technological approach helped design an innovative service.

Raportti

Reto on fyysisen interaktion tutkimuksen professori!

Pystymme hoitamaan kompleksisia toimintoja, kuten mm. autolla ajaminen. Voimme oppia toisistamme katsomalla toisiamme. Tässä syitä, miksi on tarvetta enemmän fyysisille käyttöliittymille. Alkaa tästä
