Raportoijat (Kukin tekee omansa)

Raportoijat

Tanja Pelkonen
Kolmannen vuoden digitaalisen viestinnän opiskelija. Odottaa konferenssilta uusia ideoita ja näkökulmia, oppimista ja ennen kaikkea verkostoitumista.

Marja Suurmunne

Kunsthaus Tacheles on ehdottomasti kokemisen arvoinen paikka. Se on taiteilijoiden valtaama talo, josta löytyy muun muassa patsaspuutarha ja monta kerrosta eri taiteilijoiden teoksia. Ylimmässä kerroksessa on myös baari. Tunnelma on vähintäänkin hämärä.

DDR museo

Ramones museo/kahvila

Pelimuseo

East side gallery

Kommunikointimuseo Leipziger Straße 16. Tällä hetkellä näyttely käsittelee do it youself -kulttuuria

Nollendorfplatz

esite, jossa listataan Berliinin kauniita linnoja/palatseja

Juutalaismuseo

Bauhausmuseo

Helmut Newtonin valokuvagalleria

Museum der Dinge

Sammlung Industrielle Gestaltung Itä-Saksalaista muotoilua

NEXT Berlin 2012

Ensimmäinen NEXT-seminaari järjestettiin mainostoimisto SinnerSchraderin 10-vuotis juhlana 2006, vuodesta 2010 lähtien tapahtuma on järjestetty Berliinissä.
NEXT on yksi euroopan johtavista digitaalisen viestinnän seminaareista. Seminaarin keskeisenä teemana on pysynyt "kolmio" consumer-marketing-technology.

Next business models, consumer behaviour, co-creation, supply chains, manufacturers, products, gadgets and applications.

3D Printing & The Future of Fashion (Maija)
Can we make clothes without sewing? Or how about designs changed on demand? Designing on fundamental levels with digital materials and processes allows us to bring ideas from fairy tale and sci fi fantasy to real life.

Connections (Mara)
Our world grows more inter-connected every day. In this track we explore the new rules of designing for the networked, connected world of the Internet of Things and ubiquitous computing.

Authenticity and trust on the Internet
How do individuals, companies and institutions manage to engender trust though social networks, when people find it hard to judge what's real - and why do we lose our sense of smell when judging information on the web? I'll look at examples, good and bad, as well as those whose authenticity is their brand and their product.

TV to come, TV to go - Playing with the future of television.
Workshops should be fun. Which is why we're inviting you to come and play - be it GoogleTV, second screen apps or Android tablets as a remote control. How will moving pictures be consumed in future? Find out in next-Tube with our CEO Franziska von Lewinski.

Looking East (Mira)
Berlin is Europe’s hub between East and West. As the primary conference for Europe’s internet scene, we invited a number of high profile players who connect Western Europe to the East.

Keynote Aram Bartholl
In public interventions and installations Aram Bartholl examines what man is doing with the media, and what media does with man. A recently published book features his smart experiments with transitions from the virtual to the physical: USB sticks embedded into walls as off-line clouds for public data-exchange and giant real-life versions of Google's red map markers positioned in public spaces

Inputopia
While we still try to cope with the new paradigm of touch, the next generation of interfaces is already around the corner. We will be used to syncing our smart mobile devices with TVs in order to interact with the programme.

Gaze Interaction: The next computer interface
Gaze will bring about the next big change in the way that we interact with computers. Tobii's Gaze technology is ready to revolutionize computer interfaces and the way that we use computers to communicate, play and work.

3 minutes 40 seconds
Isn't it great that recordings come in so many different flavours? On vinyl, tape, cd, digital, to download, to stream they are even on air! But wait a sec! No matter in what flavour you get "Yellow Submarine" it is still the same recording frozen in time from way back in the 60ties. Lets have a look if mobile music has the potential to define music production, consumption and the music industry in the same way that recorded music has done over half a century ago.

Mind control on-the-go
Development of brain-computer interface ("BCI") technologies is accelerating. How might you as a mobile developer or user want to make use of brain data?

Voice User Interface: Where does it come from? Where is it going?
Voice User Interface: Where does it come from? Where is it going? Over the last couple of months, speech technology has got some serious traction in the market esspecially in the mobile space: Autos, Mobile Phones and TVs are shipping with smart Voice UIs. The talk will try to analyse what has changed over the last 3 years and will discuss the trends for speech interfaces for the next 3 years.

How UI design can help managing chaos (Mara)
Design can make technology and information more useful to everybody. The proliferation of data available and communication channels is oftentimes leading to information overload and makes it harder for us to identify and focus on what is important.

Inputopia (Henri)

I need a dollar (MiraProvide them with the tools, and let them do the work: Next trends in prosumer commerce at Spreadshirt (Maija)

The New Me (Tanja) In a post-digital world, our notion of identity is challenged. Our speakers will explore how our identities change and adapt in this new world where we coexist with non-human actors and software shapes our lives.

Metaphors considered harmful
James Bridle will be exploring the stories we tell ourselves about technologies, and the way these stories play out in the world, both physical and digital.

Value Creation - Innovated (Matti)

KLO 15:00-15:30 TAUKO

KLO 15:30-17:00

Keynote David Weinberger
David Weinberger is a technologist, bestselling author (“The Cluetrain Manifesto”) and one of the most important thinkers of the digital age. His research and publications focus on how the Internet is changing human relationships, communication, and society.

Media (Mira?)

Smartshift (Henri)
In the post-digital era smart mobile devices bring big disruptions to many old businesses. New players challenge the established one and bring the software revolution to many old economies.

Bananas, Technology and Magic, Breaking the cliche's of user centered design
This talk plans to inspire and awaken the practice of user centered design throughout the design process by looking behind the scenes on an award winning project, Out of the Box, which was an open collaboration between Vitamins, Samsung and the Helen Hamlyn Centre. The project goal was to design new methods of engaging older users to use existing smartphone technologies.

The medium is the fashion (Tanja)
The power of fashion blogs and how traditional media is becoming new media.I like my style: Online goes print (Mira)
How the rules of fashion media have changed and will change. And why print and digital media is a match made in heaven. (Mira)

Bridging the Gap (Tanja) On our way to the post-digital, we transcended the digital. In this track, leading minds who led the way will share their insights and experiences along the way and introduce us to what they have been working on more recently.
