There are different types of sensors that are made by Bosch:
Improving the safety: ABS brakes, driver assistance systems.
Trying to stop climate change and global warming: electronic diesel control, air management and fuel injection system limits amount of fuel; less fuel is needed to get power from the engine.
Other sensor types which has been used in automobile are (made by Bosch):
-gyroscope sensor
-acceleration sensor
-pressure sensor
-mass flow sensor
-combined intertial sensor
-angular rate sensor
-torque sensor
Sensor parts has been installed in largest automotive manufacture's car such as Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
In motor racing Audi uses Bosch's parts and sensors while competiting LeMans series. Cars in NASCAR racing series, located in the United States of America also uses Bosch's genuine parts.
Audi has hybrid cars LeMans series (for example LMP1 car) with motor generation unit in cooperation with Bosch. Telemetry system sends all data from the car and its status to the pits via WLAN (wireless).
