1) Yritystä Stadiin! is a free networking and training event for current and future enrepreneurs

in Helsinki. Held annually, the event will be arranged for the eighth time on May 8th, 2014.

The main themes of this year's event are sales and marketing. Yritystä Stadiin! was concepted

around an idea of "successful entrepreneurship", with useful program and contacts for all

entrepreneurs, from beginners to those who are looking for someone new to take over their business.

Around 2000 guests attend the event annually, but we are looking to find new target audiences,

most important being those who are not yet members of our organization and so called "modern entrepreneurs".

The question is: how do we reach these people and make sure our event meets their needs?"

2) Pop in a Shop is a campaign week for local specialized shops, services, restaurants and cafes.

The campaign is organized by the City of Helsinki and the Regional Organization of Enterprises in Helsinki (aka. Helsingin Yrittäjät).

Our goal is to encourage visitors and locals alike to discover the treasures of Helsinki.

In other words, we want people to visit small boutiques that offer excellent services and unique products, not to mention great customer service!

Local shopkeepers came up with the idea for the Pop in a Shop -week as a way to make their services known to the public and to encourage people to "Pop in and see what we're offering!".

In 2013, over 200 local shops took part in the Pop in a Shop -week and working together in maintaining Helsinki a vital, colorful city with a strong boutique culture.

All of the events during the Pop in a Shop -weeks are arranged by the participating shops, services and restaurants. The 2014 Pop in a Shop -week will be held May 19-24.

The question:  How could we brand some of the boutique areas of Helsinki and market them with a minimal budget to make them more appealing to shoppers and tourists?”
